The SENTINEL team, including those North American and local Consultants will work with the Primary Process Equipment Vendor/Installers to manage the final design and construction of the facility. The management of the Project, through to conclusion of commissioning of the plant and hand-over will be based on an adjusted EPC contract with local company. The local company will be directly responsible for the overall construction and delivery of the base building civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning, to specifications produced along with construction drawings by the SENTINEL Team.
SENTINEL will bring with it the relationships already in place with its major equipment vendors, all of whom are fully aware of their individual participation requirements, with a firm agreement regarding the design of their equipment as relates to the SENTINEL Intellectual Property attached to its design. The Vendors bring with them a vast design and construction record involving their equipment and how that interfaces with the remaining facility design, to provide a contiguous effort towards a successful facility producing EnerPax+ fuel pellets to the Power Island, for production of “green electricity”.
SENTINEL will have its personnel located at site to operate as the Engineers. They will coordinate work required by Vendors, with the on-ground local contracting forces, to ensure all services, special needs, lay-down areas, receipt of equipment at site, and installation follow the design requirements of SENTINEL. SENTINEL’s team will be supplemented by the local Consultant personnel, required to complete weekly on-site periodic inspection, followed up with weekly reports to SENTINEL. The North American Consultants will visit the site on a monthly basis throughout construction, to meet with the local Consultants and Contractor, to ensure that the integrity of design is being managed professionally, and as intended by design documents.
SENTINEL and its Vendors will remain involved in the personnel training schedule for the initial six (6) months after commissioning of plant handover and thereafter provide Annual Audit services.
The Project will be driven by the tenets of quality engineering, optimal costing, operational guarantees to the investors and a committed delivery schedule.
The Project will be executed with a customer centric approach to ensure:
– Simplified owner’s role with minimal staff on site
– Adherence to committed plant performance standards
– Single point responsibility for all aspects of the project
– Domain specific, civil construction expertise
– An uncompromising ethical business approach ensuring adherence to quality and trust
– In-house capability to address allied systems, such as water desalination and treatment and power generation ensuring delivery of the Project on-time
– Use of proprietary project management techniques helping to improve efficiencies
– Relationship with the SENTINEL Team, ensuring all required IP techniques are adhered to
– Globally leveraged supply chain of SENTINEL helps meet quality and committed delivery parameters.
